Discover The Thompsons Station Area
Thompson’s Station, Tennessee is a charming small town in Williamson County, about 25 miles south of Nashville. Settled in the late 18th century, it officially received its name in 1856 when Dr. Elijah Thompson donated land for a train depot that helped anchor the community. The town has deep historical roots, most notably as the site of the Battle of Thompson’s Station in 1863, a Civil War engagement that is still remembered locally.
